May Ball 2018 Set to be the Biggest Year Yet

Free donuts and an upgraded VIP tent are only the beginning.

After their sold-out Opening Ball, the Kate Kennedy Club will return on Sunday 6th May with the largest event on the academic calendar. Catering to over 2000 guests, May Ball has been running for over fifty years, annually selling out amidst high demand. This year, the event will continue traditions of years’ past, while adding new perks for both VIP and Standard guests to enjoy.

For £80, VIP guests receive essentially everything one could ask for on a night out. Priority arrival to Kinkell Byre, a champagne reception, a private marquee, and complimentary sweet treats are only the beginning of the extensive evening.

The VIP marquee itself has undergone a makeover – it will be a clear tent, providing guests with a stunning view of the countryside. Inside the marquee, VIP guests will have exclusive access to a private bar and luxury lounge, alongside a private dance floor run by popular local DJs (Hamish Rea, Matt Payne, and Tom Hurst). Courtesy of this year’s catering company, the marquee will also serve complimentary churros, donuts, and a variety of flavoured popcorn.

Beyond the main tent, both Standard and VIP guests will have free, unlimited access to three fairground rides, including the ever-popular La Bamba and Dodgems. Ultimately, the only thing guests will pay for on the night is alcohol, served at a surprisingly cheap bar – Red Bull is reported to be in ample supply.

All guests will undoubtedly recognise the sounds of May Ball’s headlining DJs. Sam Feldt will be doing a 90 minute set on the main stage, during which his popular hits “Show Me Love” and “Summer on You” – both of which charted high in the UK and the Netherlands – will be played. Yungen, also on the main stage, will play his recognisable singles “Bestie” and “Mind On It”, two recently released UK hits. At the end of the night, Redline will send us off with his signature techno-like vibes. Throughout the night, guests who prefer a more intimate, rave-like atmosphere will have access to the smaller entry room, in which Vic-favourite music collective BPM will be performing.

Although it is not the only ball of the year, May Ball is certainly the largest. It will be, for many freshers, the first time experiencing Kinkell Byre in all its glory, and the last black tie experience before returning home for the summer. Food, alcohol, and banging tunes make the Kate Kennedy’s final sendoff unmissable – particularly considering that the proceeds are donated directly to local charities.

The final few tickets are available on FIXR.

  1. PBN sites
We’ll establish a web of privately-owned blog network sites!

Pros of our privately-owned blog network:

WE DO everything SO THAT GOOGLE does not understand THAT THIS IS A self-owned blog network!!!

1- We acquire web domains from different registrars

2- The principal site is hosted on a VPS hosting (VPS is rapid hosting)

3- Other sites are on different hostings

4- We assign a individual Google profile to each site with confirmation in Google Search Console.

5- We design websites on WordPress, we don’t utilise plugins with assistance from which Trojans penetrate and through which pages on your websites are produced.

6- We refrain from reiterate templates and use only unique text and pictures

We never work with website design; the client, if wanted, can then edit the websites to suit his wishes
