Akkan is overall a much more enjoyable fight, the pacing feels nice, the music is great, and the special sidereals feel really cool to use.Kaya HM is needed for set mats. Just skip NM since it's pretty much the same. Not much gold reward compared to the other raids. Akkan NM 1-3 if you want a smooth run. HM gate 3 gives some groups trouble. I honestly think this'll be me with akkan. I'm just now reaching brel NM and akkan is in 3 months. I'd love to catchup and experience fresh content with players rather than try to learn and get flamed when it's reclear homework for others. Knowing full well I will just barely be starting brel HM in 3 months, I might finally call it quits.

You get Akkan mats from Kayangel. Exactly, Kayangel gives Akkan mats, but just a few, meanwhile brelshaza even after the 5:1 conversion, is somewhat worth it. The only purpose for doing Kayangel currently at 1600+ is purely for books. So, considering Kayangel is a pure trash raid, go brelshaza until the nerfs.
